Mike and Kari

Mark had a great shoot in the metropolis of Shawano on Monday with an awesome couple. They introduced him to some great new shooting hot spots.

Love this shot!!!!

Aren't these two adorable?

Mike has that ruggedly handsome look going on.

One of my favorite ring shots of late.

This one is just plain cool!

Melissa and Al

The word that comes to mind when I think of these two is sweet. It was just a pleasure to hang out with them all day. They are a truly kind and thoughtful couple that are just perfect for each other. Melissa is a huge Packer fan with Al following as a close second. So it was fitting that the two of them should say their vows at Lambeau this past Saturday. The reception was at Brett Favre's and their were some bars and trolley riding in between.

Melissa has these amazing eyes.

Love this shot of the groom.

Love this moment during the first dance

Brad (we shot his wedding around 2 years ago). This guy is a party animal. It was super fun seeing him and his lovely wife Lisa again.

Bob and Christine

This past weekend we had the privilege of shooting a wedding in one of our favorite places--Gordon Lodge up in the beautiful Bailey's Harbor. Ironically, we were at the same place last July 5th for Fritz and Stella's wedding. These two were awesome and the wedding was just my kind of day. The evening ended with some amazing fireworks in the town of Bailey's Harbor.

These two are avid bikers. They rode a "small" 21 miler the morning of the wedding. Oh yeah, and they will be biking across Iowa for their honeymoon.

The gorgeous Christine

Love this candid of Christine.

If you live in Green Bay or the Fox Valley, you probably have relied on Bob to give you the local news. He is a news anchor for 26. He is super nice guy.

Honoring our independence day

Bob watching Christine head down the aisle.

The ceremony was overlooking Lake Michigan. Absolutely beautiful day.

A view of the boathouse which held the reception.

Loved, loved, loved the band. It was an amazing jazz band. I would highly recommend checking them out if you are in the market. The name is Jana Nyberg Group.

There was some dancing out on the porch of the boathouse. It was so cool to watch the sun go down while dancing listening to music.

Sweet

Some snuggling on the way to the fireworks on the trolley.

They had an area set up behind the Fishmarket and Grill in Bailey's to watch the fireworks. There was a great roaring bonfire with lots of s'more fixings.

What a great way to end a wedding celebration.

Nate and Sarah

What a great day on Saturday. Sarah and Nate had an awesome wedding. We just really enjoyed hanging out with them all day. The girls started out the day with hair and makeup and a lunch at the Grapevine. The guys started their day a bit more casually, decorating cars and eating cheeseburgers. I loved listening to Sarah share about some of the things she loves about Nate. These two were just incredibly sweet together. From start to finish it was an incredibly relaxed perfect day. The ceremony was at Union Congregational and the reception at Green Bay Country Club. Carmen at Cutting Garden did the florals which were amazing.

A little caffeine fix

The guys hanging out admiring their handiwork on the cars.

Some details

The church is a historic site in Green Bay. It was built by shipbuilders. The ceiling resembles the hull of a ship.

Love it! Sarah's favorite car is the Mazda Miata which she got to cruise around in on her wedding day.

The reception was at Green Bay Country Club. They let the bridal party take some golf carts around the course to take pics. I loved the covered bridge.

Mackenzie

Check that out!! Every now and then Mark gets the opportunity to shoot an amazing senior who is after something a little out of the ordinary, and this week that was just the case. Mackenzie is an amazing sweet girl and also an incredible dancer. Although she hasn't danced this past year, ballet has been a big part of her life so Mark had a great time capturing that. Next year it is off to college with the goal of becoming a lawyer.

Love the tutu . . .

And the shoes! (That takes some skill.)

Having some fun

Mackenzie has the most amazing eyes.

Ashley is Mackenzie's best friend from childhood. She also acted as on site hair and make up specialist.

Gorgeous

Meghan and Steve

Meghan has been waiting for this since yesterday, but we took a day off yesterday . . . and so here you go. We went to one of our favorite shooting grounds, Kewaunee; and the weather was a little sketchy, but it turned out to be all good. This couple was pretty crazy and tons of fun. I think you will get the idea as you look at the pics.

Love all the cool old buildings in Kewaunee

A little wrestling

A little playing in the grass. These two crack me up. This is going to be one fun wedding.

There are people out there wondering about the shots that don't make the cut. Here is an example of bad focus...it's still kinda cool.

Jeremy and Sarah

I am back from a long day of sailing with the family, and here is my belated post. This was an excellent wedding from start to finish. We started at the brides parents "cottage" on Little Sturgeon Bay, and then the wedding was at St. Joes in Sturgeon Bay. The reception was at Stone Harbor (of course!) I really had a good time hanging out with these two, and they were so relaxed (as one could possibly be on their wedding day) You gotta see the images to get the whole picture :)

Some before stuff:

Some Sexy!

The party.

This is good cake light.

NICE!

I love this shot. I don't think this was his drink of choice though.

One more thing--Sarah's brother was her "maid" of honor ie man of honor. He gave the best maid of honor speech I've had the privilege of hearing. Jeremy's grandpa who is 79 was the best man. He was keeping up with all the festivities until late into the evening. I think one of the best dancers out there. I loved how Jeremy and Sarah honored these two special people in their lives and went a little against the norm. Enjoy the slideshow.
